During the pilgrimage, we’ll learn about Ghana’s rich culture and history, enjoy the breathtaking scenery, walk in the footsteps of our ancestors, and interact with Ghanaian villagers.
On this trip, we’ll be traveling to Accra, Kumasi, and Elmina to experience as much of Ghana as possible.

Tour of the historic Aburi Botanical Garden, which opened in 1890 and played an essential role in encouraging cocoa production in South Ghana

Refund/ Cancellation Policy
A deposit confirms agreement to the following terms: I understand all payments to Travel with Sparkle are non-refundable and non-transferable (including deposits). The above total is dependent on a group travel rate and is subject to change if the participation falls below a number consistent on a group. Travel with Sparkle reserves the right to change or modify the itinerary as needed for all group trips.
Prices: All prices are subject to change without notice.
Pricing Details: Rates for plane tickets have not been released yet. Travel with Sparkle, LLC will notify all guests about the cost of plane tickets once we have a count of registered guests for the land package.
A non-refundable deposit of $350.00 per person is due by September 30, 2022. This trip is first- come first-served, and there are only 20 spots available.
We expect everyone to purchase travel insurance, which covers cancellations for any reason.
Payments: All payments to Travel with Sparkle are non-refundable and non-transferable. In an effort to negotiate the best experience and price, our travel partners do not provide refunds.

Tourist Visa Required:
There is a visa requirement to Ghana for American citizens.

VACCINATIONS
Yellow fever and COVID-19 vaccinations are required. All vaccination details are subject to change.
TRAVEL TO GHANA
All persons 18 years and above arriving in Ghana will be required to provide evidence of full vaccination for a COVID-19 vaccine.
DEFINITION OF FULLY VACCINATED
A person is said to be fully vaccinated when he/she has taken the full dose of vaccines approved and registered by the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), Ghana.
You need two (2) doses of AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna or Sputnik V to be declared fully vaccinated.
One (1) dose is required of Johnson and Johnson to be declared fully vaccinated.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
PLEASE NOTE: Travel Insurance is high key recommended to protect yourself while traveling. If you decline to purchase insurance, you must fill out a travel insurance declined waiver form. Insurance is sold separately and is strongly advised. Insurance is quoted on an individual basis depending on the passenger’s age and total amount of the vacation package.
Insurance: I further acknowledge that I have been advised to purchase travel insurance to protect my investment. The purchase of travel insurance to cover your vacation investment is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for unexpected circumstances that neither the travel agent nor the client can control. It is to be noted that if you do not add travel insurance, your entire trip investment as well as medical emergencies may be at risk. Note: Insurance claim approval is determined by the travel insurance company, and Travel with Sparkle accepts absolutely no responsibility for any denied claims.
